ive tried there website and got nothing on the torque specs on for my 360fe...i tried to call but keep gettin forwarded to a answering machine :rolleyes: ...im sure someone out there has an idea :D its the basic rpm manifold nothing special..

I do not think it being an aluminum intake but from what I have seen it is in the range of 40-45 ft lb.'s

I have always just used the stock Iron spec and have never had a problem.

thanks for the help!...ill just go with the stock manifold torque rating, maybe back off a few pounds...

Why are you going to lower the torque spec? The flanges on an Edelbrock manifold should be thick enough for the oem torque spec. Also make sure to use washers under the bolts to prevent damaging the manifold.
Oh-yeah, Edelbrock's tech line is pretty busy and usually runs a day or two behind.

i just remember the specs being less torque then the stock mainfolds....thats all just being safe :D i went with a little less then stock specs and it seems good to go,well see what happens.

I knoew chevy motors spec 5-7lbs' lighter for aluminum intakes... and as far as I'm concerned an intake is an inatke no matter what motor its bolted too.
