: Shock Boots

So lets hear it. Pros/cons of running shock boots. I love the look of shocks w/o the boots but I have heard of lots of people destroying shocks because of it.

What do you folks think?

Just teh opposite is true.......you seldom if often see any off road racers using shock boots.....they trap debris, dust and mud.....The only reason to run them is to look cool....I have never used them.....but they do make great doggie toys

I like the hot pink ones myself - Seriously, though, unless you're running in an area that has superfine grit as in volcanic dust or the like you can probably get away without the boots

The boots have wheep holes in tehm to allow air to get out under compression....and works just like a vaccum when they expand.......dont use the things....especially in fine dust!

Yep, first one I pulled from a box after I got my dog and he went nuts. From that point on they're his.. and he loves em
