As far as I know, you have to use the complete knuckle out assemblys off of a 90's ford f-350, meaning the knuckles, spindles, rotors, callpiers, etc. Then, as far as I know, they bolt right up. As far as the passenger side shaft, check with... shoot, look up ramv on the board. He got a shaft for his d44, and I am sure the same company makes a d60 shaft.

You can have a custom axle for the right side, or the mid 02 Dana 60s did not have the CAD unit and has a one piece axle shaft. Could use that, but you will also have to convert the inners to 32 spline. The 94 Dana 60 is 30 spline.

I just had Badlands Machine Shop remove the CAD from a 94 Dodge D60 front and a late model F350 long shaft was the correct length, it is 35 spline but that is what I wanted. BMS made me a short side shaft and I put in a 35 spline Detroit. I did not change the ends, I kept the uni bearings for what I am using it for they are fine. Badlands can make whatever you want.

what is the spline count and size of the stub shaft? is the ujoint the same as the the older kingpin 60's? I was thinking about building a front 60 using a older housing and inner shafts and later 94 up style knuckles and unit bearing setup.

My reasoning is full time hubs and lighter weight.

Anyone have one for sale cheap near ky?

From my measurements a Ford long side shaft would be an inch too short, thinking I'll need one close to 38". The Ford shaft is just under 37", correct? You've done this so I guess it works. I'll double-check my measurements. Dutchman Motorsports can go up to 37" so if that will work I'll be all set. Thanks for the info Toby! (EDIT) Is the "late model" the 80-88 shaft?

I've got a set of unit bearing hubs and stub shafts to sell/trade if you want em.

I really need knuckles out so that I get brakes and all. Also need the inner "c's" for the project. What is the spline count and diameter of the stub shaft? Is it the same or smaller uoint as a kingpin 60? How much do you want for those parts and where are you located?

Sorry I didn't keep up with this post. Late model as in 99 to 04 I guess, it is a part that after market suppliers don't make yet so it will have to come from Ford or a junk yard. I didn't measure it and I have it back together now.

The stub shafts are 33 spline I believe, and the U-joints measure the same as the regular D60 U-joints. They cost around $45 new, I'd sellem for $45 a pair. I don't know what the hub units are worth, but make a reasonable offer and they're yours. How about same as the shafts, a pair for the price of a single new one? They're in very good condition. I'm located near Portland, Oregon.

Thanks Toby. That's a 36.97" shaft. I found a source so I'll get one on the way.

I'm very interested in this, to hear if the knuckles out from a 95-97 ball joint ford fit, because i know 90 and later is ball joint but the 95-97 used the bigger rotors and bolt on calipers. If it does fit that will be great news because i want hubs on my Dodge D60 and a Plok or such in the housing also.

I'll do a writeup with pics when I'm done, but the Ford knuckles don't work. They fit, but the camber is way off.
