I have had 2 right hand drive scouts a 1970 800A 196/3-speed/4-wheeldrive, and a 1980 Scout 2 304/auto/4wheeldrive. Both of mine where Mail trucks. They where either mail trucks or export. I seen those 2 on E-bay the other day, they look to have good bodies, both of mine where very rusty.

Kewl, I didn't know they ever used them as mail trucks.....that would be sweet to see though.;)

my mailman drives one, or at least what's left of one. i'm surprised there isn't a trail of leters following that thing. there's practically no body.
and to think, if they would have put the galvanized side on the die the other way, all these fawkin scouts would still have bodies

Explain that to me, that sounds interesting.
In Feb of 67 the US mail service ordered 6,745 Scout 800's
with right hand drive

my buddys grandma has a 64 scout right hand drive 2wd w/a 283 and she delivers mail too... wish i had a cool mailperson like that mine drives a honda.....
