: need measurement thanks.
I got my body pulled off the frame and started the final measurements but since it was totaly stock hard to say where to set the suspension height.So...
I need a measurement to the bottom of the frame rail on a sami with with 33"- 35" tires. Nothing jacked 5' in the air though.
trying to set a decent hieght for my belly pan so I can start figuring out my suspension angles. I'm doing some serious cutting so I can fit my 36" sx's. I really need to keep the C.G. low.
So FATKID, Azrckcrawler, Rudezuk anybody else.
can you tell me tire type size and how much lift, and where on the frame measureed to.
Thanks
fatkid 01-12-2002, 12:14 PM I'm heading to the shop in little while, I'll have it to night.:)
jp008 01-13-2002, 06:28 PM Mine sits on 33 GY MT/R's w/20lbs of air and 6.5" of lift. The bottom of my frame is 20" off the ground. I hope this is what you need. You can see pics at the WWW button.
BTW (OT) When are you going to have pics of your OTT stuff. Inquiring minds want to know. A friend of mine is #2 on the list of OTT conversions and we all know whose #1 don't we------Pook.
Rockrat 01-13-2002, 07:58 PM Mine sits on 33x12.5x15 Thornbirds and right now there is 4.5#
of air in them and from floor to frame 21-1/4" front and rear
Hope this helps:D
thanks guys, thats what I need. I check out a few localk trucks and they all seem to fall betwwen 20"- 22" on 33's so I figure I'll sit it at about 23" and do some serious cutting to fit my 36's should be nice and stable.:smokin:
I'll get some pics of my kicker to toy case up any day now Rick said they're just waiting for the shaft or something to come back from the heat treaters.
it sucks being # 2:flipoff2: :flipoff2:
don't worry though you'll probably get to actually use yours 1st. :flipoff2:
AIRZUKI 01-16-2002, 12:25 PM It's ready..........

Looks good I'm going to go pick it up right now.:smokin:
Rudezuk 01-16-2002, 03:42 PM Pook, ill measure mine when i get home, but it is pretty damn tall!
I didnt have to cut my fenders to fit my 37's,
Im on 2.5" Wagoneers on D44's.......the D44's alone added some lift, and the Wagoneers gave me about 1-1.5" over 2.5" YJ's...and the 2.5" YJ's gave me about 4" over stock YJ's.
With stock yj's i could run 33's no clearence problems, and my rockers were about 27-28" i think...
OTTjust came out with the new kicker/toy case combo......Mine is next.....Kick trany/kick case/Sumo case!!!!!!
Over 200:1!

Kick to toy thats what I got I'm #1:smokin:no just got to get the new 4.7's
More measurements would be nice I know yours is tall but whats your overal width wheel to wheel also. I know mines not going to be as tall as your but It'll be nice comparison. I don't think the 36" sx are that much shorter.
pook I'm so freakin jealous:flipoff2: the setup looks awesome I can't wait to get mine!!(listening Rick?)the 'kick is just about ready for it (just brake lines, shocks, and drag link)I'm #2 I'm #2 :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:
I"m number three... I'm waiting for my new 4.7's from marlin then I'm gonna place the order when they get here... I guess about a week... I can't wait... 180 to 1 here I come!!!!
funny thing is though mine has the #4 stamped in it?

You kill me Uzi!
We're actually going wheeling this weekend! Nothing major, probably just out to the Chiliwack River Valley or something along those lines (I'd like McNut ie NPT or Camel Trophy but beggers can't be chosers) so we're probably leaving the winches at home (the image below is from out there --I think). So if any of you BC kids are interested in getting together for a little run let me know (PM as my e-mail is screwed!) Yes Uzi that means you too. Get your :bender:

That sure looks like my rig!! (Jayzuk's old rig) It's much wider than that now. And it sits on 35" boggers.
