: Help...Spindle nut size on FF D60???

I bout a socket that I thought would fit something like 2.5" or maybe 2.0635" and it doesn't fit does anyone know so I can finish tearing my axle apart???:confused: :confused: :confused:

email spraylord2@aol.com, he took his off a few weeks ago. They are huge and we couldn't find one so we ghetto rigged it out. But he can tell you how to do it.

Dont these axles use a 4 prong socket? if not oh well.

nope the front axles like 44s and 10 bolt do but not a 60 rear or even a 60 front I don't think:D

My front 60 has a 6 prong round outter spindle nut and a 2 9/16" hex inner.

My rear 60 uses the same inner and outter which are 2 9/16" hex.

my 60 uses prong socket inner and outer

I got one of those sockets and it didn't fit into the hub on the brake drum. I took out a sawzall and cut about 1/2 fo the end off and it fit perfectly. I think I got it at NAPA.
