I am getting ready to put a saginaw setup into my rig and wanted to ask a few questions before I take the plunge. The parts yard down the street has an fj60 and the dude quoted me $80 for the tilt steering column. Good price? bad price? Will the 60 steering column match up into my 40? It looks like I may have to fab a little....we shall see. I think that I could probably get all of the neccessary parts from Borgeson to make the 60 to GM box connection.

Did the dude quote you for the rest of the FJ60 PS setup? Go that way if you haven't already the pieces for the saginaw. Beef are the 60 components. If you get too big, your saginaw may :nuke: $200 would be a great price to get everything complete.

I have an FJ62 complete setup waiting for the recipient to go under the knife in June thanks to a great guy here on PBB.

I am planning on useing the 60 PS box in the FJ40 with an FJ40 colum(bigger steering wheel=easier to steer) I do have a 62 colum but plan on using parts off it to make my steering setup.
