well here is a pic is this normal is there something wrong with the stud hole?

I'm going to go waaaaayyyy out on a limb here and say yes, something isn't right there. That hole really ought to be round if you want it be useful. Back to the junkyard for you, unfortunately.

if that works, that would be the rout, it's too hard to find at p-n-p. pluse they will most likely want more than what it will cost to weld and retap.

I wouldn't use it. Get another one.
