Here it is...Trail Tough front, CSC rear, custom 3 leaf packs with 2.5" lifted Pro Comps and stock leafs. Shes got about 9" over all lift now. Time for some 33"s and Toy axles.

Looks good and ready for 33's. :D Do your shocks hit the TT u-bolt plates when you extend your front with the RR shock mounts? I know that's what Brent told me would happen (shocks will hit u-bolt plates) with the mounts I had, so I ordered his mounts, but they sit about 2-3 inches below the axle. Don't really like that idea since I am gonna bash them on everything, so I'm going to have to find something else for lower mounts. Whatcha gonna do for tires? Looks good, man! :) ~Steve

Squirrelman,
I have my RRO shock towers mounted backwards and run the DT 8000 prerunners upside down. I haven't flexed it out yet, but I am worried the spring packs will hit the RRO Z-link I have only about 1" of clearence.

I've got the same lower shock mounts that you do right now. I took it out and flexed it, without any shocks, and it definiately looked like it was going to be hitting the u-bolt plate. I have a stock (for now) upper shock mount, though, so I don't know if you will be okay with the ones you have. That is the only reason I am not done right now, because I don't have shocks or mounts. I am getting Ford shock towers for the front, and I'm probably going to end up moving my lower front shock mounts to the top of the axle. Kinda bummed about that, but I think the Ford towers will make up for it. How do the DT 8000's ride with the YJ's? That's what I was thinking about getting. ~Steve

I've only taken it around the block today, and the front feels a little stiff. I have two stock top leafs and one 2.5" Pro Comp leaf in the front so after wheelin' it a bit I'm sure they'll soften up and sag. I want the ride height a little lower too. I'm going to Toy axles when I get the $$$ and I'll be relocating the lower shock mounts to the top of the axle. I don't like them below the axle either. As for the top mounts...try leaning the top of the Ford towers back and see how it looks before you weld 'em. The shock will lay back and give you a little more clearence I would think  I've ran the DT 8000s for a few years with a Calmini shackle reverse(which don't belong on the rocks IMO) and I liked them. Some people think their too soft though. We'll see how they work now with the new front suspension:smokin:
