well i know know that 1 5/8 1/4" tube is what's used need a very deep hole saw, but what about centering it i'm planning on doing this before i cut the crappy ifs stuff any certain way of doing this to get it just right?

Tape Measure:flipoff2: Just figure out the distance between the tubes, I think its around 25", but measure to make sure! This is how I did mine. It will be 29" from the center of the tube to the center of the other tube. Then subtract the half length of each tube: 2"+2"=4"; 29"-4"=25" roughly off the top of my head, I would have to go out and measure to be exact, but you can do that.:flipoff2:

Damn that's it , if that's all it takes i'm just going to have to it myself so am i right with the od and wall if the tube used?

Yeah but you might have to call around to find it. If nothing else take a bushing around to steel shops and find something that will work, you may find something with the right I.D., but thicker wall.:flipoff2: :D

Oh yeah, and just put the hole in the center of the body mount, about a 1/2" or so above the frame rail.;) :smokin:

The length depends on the width of the spring eye, I used 44044's, so they where wider. Stick the shackle on the spring and then measure the width of the top of the shackle past the bend to be exact. The other measurements sound right, just measure the diameter of a bushing for the I.D.:skull:

cool i too will be running 44044's but see i am also thinking of makeing my own shackles like the allpro ones with the spacers on the bottom
