My check engine light is on (drained the batteries). Anyone know a way to get the codes without a code reader? (key sequence or like method.)

Lots of Autozone's have code readers and they can do it for you. That or find someone with a SCMT 1705.

Dodges you can do it with the key. What kind of truck we talking about?
