JJeep74 01-12-2002, 05:26 PM I have a 74 cj-5 with a 304 v8 I was told that i have a Dana 30 front and a Dana 44 rear. But i was looking in a book today and it says i have a AMC 8 inch or something:rainbow: like that if this is true shoulg i swap in a 44 and how do identify what it is? 66CJdean 01-12-2002, 05:54 PM It will be a flanged 44 so don't touch it. It is a pretty good setup.
