It does matter.
Aftermarket brakes can be a problem = 90s models
usmcdoc14 04-30-2004, 06:51 PM fuck! so what do i ask for at the store? i went page by page from 89-94 with the same pads. Who will have the right ones? Should i start up the torch and SASing the bitch (dont answer the last one)

yes :flipoff2:
I've never seen a pad that looked like that
Even on our Subaru
which store ?
usmcdoc14 04-30-2004, 07:10 PM advanced auto. i am gonna reasemble the fawker and try pepboys/napa tomorow. the pads are just cracked/glazed from the geriatric previous owner (a 94 with 49k miles) so they should be fine for a bit longer. dammit this sucks

Try NAPA
other than an Isuzu source
mlclark 04-30-2004, 08:56 PM The pad on the left is the correct pad. Who knows what the hell the one on the right is for, although it looks like all the critical dimentions are OK (Well...duh, if they weren't you would have known).
You really should consider a pad kit from Isuzu. Pads, clips, shims and grease. You will probalby pay about $75 for each end, but...they will make nary a sound. The aftermarket ones could give you the famous Isuzu groan-squak.

The pad on the right IS the one off my amigo  the one on the left is like 1/4" smaller and will not fit in the caliper bracket. all the brackets and caliper apear stock (same amount of salt/rust as the rest)

no matter where you look you will come up with the same thing. Why? good question and the simple answer is you have 95 brakes. Either someone swapped front suspension and brake parts maybe due to a wreck or maybe the previous owner did some title and vin swappin, but either way you got 95-up brakes no doubt, go order pads for a 95 rodeo and you will be in business.
