First)

I am looking to get the electronic ignition point conversion from TPI and they say that it will only go onto the NON-USA model.

I am trying to figure out if my dist is the NON-USA type. It does have vacuum advance and the little adjustment knob on it. The NON-USA one that TPI sells looks just like it from what I can tell.

I know that the early ones were mechanical advance, but how do I tell if I have a NON-USA one or not?

Second)

I want to rebuild my WEBER carb, and I am pretty sure that it is a 38/38, both barrels look the same size but I have never measured them.

How do I know for sure that it is a 38/38, are there any specific things about them that I could for surely see?

This is my first post, so thanks for the patience.

32/36 has linkage to open 32 first, think 4 barrel, 38/38 both are geared togther.

On the ignition note check out the Pertronix company. It uses a magnetic pick-up in the cap, it's a simple two wire installation. I installed one in my TPI non-US distributor. Nothing could have been easier. Cost was between $100 and $150, I can't remember. It is also compatible with a MSD ignition, but I haven't done that yet.
