what is the easiest way to break into a 1992 ford explorer...a friend of mine locked her keys inside.
I know the coathanger will probably do the trick but I have never actually done it before and could use a pointer or two...
i hope it doesnt have side impact airbags. if it doesnt make your own slim jim. or break the cheapest window on it. im guessing you know what a slim jim is its a long piece of skinny steel. kinda like a metal yard stick. just cut so it has a hook type end. aaa or a gas station or the cops may have one.

Find someone with a master cylinder cap retainer that you can borrow off their own car or truck. Take one end, work it underneath the wing window, and back towards the lock. If your wing window has a lock, which I imagine it does, the retainer can also be used to pull against the lock, and turn the latch at the same time. It's a little tricky, but it can be done, I've been doing this everytime I comeone across someone who's done the same thing. You should see the looks on their faces - priceless. Anyway, done deal, no broken glass, no money unnecessarily wasted for a locksmith, and you're back in your truck.
If that was too confusing, I can see about taking pictures to show what I'm talking about....might be a few days before I could do that tho, and you'll probly be in your truck by then - I would hope so anyway ;)

That explorer wont have that little side window. Use the coat hanger and try to raise the inside door handle. I have a master lock set for getting into vehicles in my box at work that you can use. Just drive on up.:p

hmmm, call a locksmith, or towing company, it isn't that much, I think the one time was $50, and only took acouple minuets of my life! Destroying something trying to break in, could be alot more costly.
