Im goin with Seabass on this one, 8-12.

That is what I put mine at, I used Randys Ring and Pinion site for my info.

No wonder people break gears No toyota gears are at .012

OEM gears run between .005 to .007
Most after market run .008 to .010

Good luck but inquiring about such a basic question makes me wonder maybe you should have taken it to a pro just a thought

I do lots of gear sets and would not recomend anything looser than 10 and also agree that 6 to 8 would be ideal good luck
