I need to mate a T-176 with a 4.0L, I need to get a bellhousing, and I think I can get one from a CJ. I just gotta make sure that the two engines have the same bolt pattern.

And I'm talking about a 4.0L in a 92YJ, and a 4.2L from a CJ.

si, they do... get a 1980+ CJ bellhousing from one with a T-176

Same bolt pattern but the 4.0 is going to need a hole cut into the bellhousing for the CPS. You could get a relocation kit, and mount the CPS by the harmonic balancer.

I beleive you can use a bell housing from a t-150 on the 176 as well.
