Just for the heck of it I weighed the stuff I took off, doors were 30lb ea, windshield assembly was 40lb and the targa bar was 20lb.

All of that weight came off from up high too, where it does you the most good.

Looks great!!

Have you got any upclose pics of your shock mounts on the axle housings, and upper rear mount?

Chris do you do all of the tubing work yourself? What are you using to bend it? I would love to have my front end tubed.

If you go to my site, look under Tech, then Toyota Axle Swap. There are pictures of my shock mounts on the axle tube. believe it or not I bolted a Confer shock mount to the rear steering stock in the front, works great. The upper rear mount is just a bar that bolts to the stock mounts, then a little lower and closer to the center I welded a pair of shoulder bolts facing the rear.

My wife can't get off of work till mid April, so it looks like we'll be going your original dates, the 16th thru the 21st. Yeah, this thing has come a long way. I wish I had more pictures of the original Zuk.

I wish I was that talented. No I came up with a sketch and then took it to a friend. We worked 12 hours doing the front end. I helped but Shane Garrels did all the bending.

Sucks to hear you aren't going to be able to make it to Moab when we're there. :( I'll have to see if I can talk a few guys into going to Arizona this summer and you can show us around. :) ~Steve

I have been thinking about adding some bars for a while, just gotta get with it. Wanted to add one behind the seat and maybe some above the driver/passenger. Also wanted to add some between the two hoops blocking the doors but my seats are too big to squeeze a bar in there.

74 degrees... :flipoff2: It was nothin' but cold and windy today. I'd like to make it out there sometime (you're right, fall or spring or something) if I ever get my Samurai on the trails again. ~Steve
