OK. I have taken all 5 mounting bolts out from the X-fer case, the retaining nut is off the end of the input shaft, and i cant get the fawking tranny apart from the xcase:mad3: it'ss pissing me off, i can spin the whole tranny around, and it till pull out around 1/16" but thats it. is there a snap ring behind the bearing on the input shaft that i dont know about here? i need a responce as soon as i can. Thanks, Matt :mad2:

Matt, I've ussually used a two jaw puller bolted to two of the rear cover spots then centered the puller on the shaft and pushed/pulled the t-case off the output shaft of the tranny.

No puller:D

Rest the t-case on something with the tranny hanging down and beat on the shaft with a BFH and a board.
The shaft is just sticking on the bearings...

Or, the splines are soo messed up between the trans shaft and the t-case gear that the splines are binding.

In this case, hit it with anything you want cuz you need a new output shaft and gear.:flipoff2:
