Hi there I did a 3" body lift on my 83 bronco I-6 and after all the little crap (reworked the bumper mounts, custom mechanical clutch link ect.) my only problem is the steering shaft, the rag joint looks ok but the slip joint in the shaft is at its limit and the rag joint feels like it it tearing when I turn. I cant afford a borgeson, but I seem to remember a post about swaping in a shaft from another year or model not sure does anyone have any suggestions?? any help or sugestions(especialy cheap ones) would be great
thank

i have to look and see..but converting to an earlier aerostar shaft will get you two good u joints..you may be able to use just one end or the other as well. i use them for rangers, especially with v8's and bodylifts of 2-4 inches.

works well.
