alright i have a 1986 bronco that i built a 1990 351 fuel injected motor for. i also had a small block c6 built for it. couldnt tell you what year cause my uncle got the case from hughes and they said it was from a 70's car with a 6 cylinder and i had a 80's bigblock 4wd c6 laying around. So i had hughes rebuild it and use the guts from the big block to create a 4wd small block c6. also the flywheem is from hughes they said it was the one i needed

Problem is that when i went to crank it over the starter couldnt engage. So rotated the flywheel 180 degrees and it engaged but sounded horrible and wouldnt disengage im questioning if they gave me the wrong flywheel. i had the starter checked and it was fine. so what do you think

what starter do you have? manual trannies take a different starter, and I believe the C-6 takes a different one for the AOD as well.. so many you have the wrong starter.
