this may be a stupid question, how much would it cost to get a jeep shipped from the west coast to the east coast?

or just a set of axles?

I have heard of car carriers that will take them across country for $500-700. I've never used one or tried to contact one, but i've talke to people that have used then at this price range.

I checked on shipping of a pair of axles across a couple of states and it was about $200 if they are strapped on a pallet.

I recently inhereted a 1976 CJ7 Renegade from my dad, who replaced it for farm use with a 1960 Case tractor.

To ship the CJ7 from upstate NY to the Atlanta area Georgia, the cheapest price I was quoted was $590 door to door. The highest price I was quoted was like $1200. granted, this isn't quite as far as west coast to east coast, but it may help.

Just look in the yellow pages and call around. That's how I got prices.
