Question for you - what are you using for a notcher?,
and how easy or not , and is it fast or slow?

Dustin bought the knotcher from JD when they ordered the bender. It's really easy to use. Quick and smooth. He just has it clamped in a vise and I can't believe how good it works.

Dustin does nice work and he's only gonna get better. He's gettin some good experience here... :D:D:D

Thanks Glenn,
I ordered one of those JD2 notchers myself, and I kind of thought that was probably what you were using.
A bit of critique WHY are you not covering your body work around where you are welding? If you look at the pics sparks are going to your hood! I would have to buy someone a paint job if I did that ---------grinding & welding around glass is also REALLY bad. Had to buy a customer a 356c Porche window cha ching $$$$ cause of that , and I had that thing covered really good.
Just letting you know.

Doh?? I guess ya'll didn't see the high-dollar welding blanket on top, did ya? :D Dustin has been very careful when welding around the paint or glass. He always covers it with the welding blanket or with some thin sheet metal. The welding on the front bumper isn't near anything that needs protecting...

And that's about what I expected from 'Don't Run Much'. :flipoff2: Why don't you do something useful, like go bag a sack of squirrels for dinner. Season is still open, isn't it?? :D:D

Come on Glenn... I was trying to say that as nice as I could... your sweet looking 'runner just doesn't look good with all that tube on it... would you rather me lie to you? :p

Yeah, dammit. Lie to me. :D:D:D J/K As usual, we appreciate your honest opinion.:) We all know those are like..... nah, I won't go there... :D:D

Actually, it isn't as cherry as it looks but the idea is to keep it from getting all bashed up. Someday I may remove the cage and 'hopefully' it will still look good.

Glenn... Dude you gotta buy a Sami or a toy pickup to Destroy... I hate to say it but having 2 wheeling rigs is the best thing I ever did. Your thrash mobil is for drunken buddy wheeling and the runner is for taking the family through the con for a nice weekend....I have found that trying to protect a nice rig works most of the time but when it doesnt and your door get wadded into TP your gonna be sad:(

Hahahaha!!!! I thought about that but you know I'm not as young as I used to be and I'm not into 'drunkenbuddybashin' anymore. I know I can still inflict some damage. Nothing is bulletbroof but it'll help some. I have spare doors too. :D:D:D Say, you got a Sammy you wanna sell me???

:D It's 1 5/8, 120wall. According to the chart, a 20 foot stick weighs about 35-36 lbs. I reckon we'll be using around 8 sticks (with some waste of course) so it's not really that much weight added. Also lost about 50 lbs by totally removing the front tube bumper and regular bumper. So it's no worse than having 'Fat Bastard' riding in the back seat. :D:D:D Jusk kidding, webdaddy.

Dustin shares a small shop with his cousin. It's only a couple blocks from my house. He's not on the computer much cause his hard drive went south for the winter. If anyone needs any work done, I can hook ya up with his cell number. Just email me... :D:D:D I can't wait to rub that thing on some rocks.
