I'm planning on putting my gas tank in the tub of my YJ.

Is it safe to cut the hardlines from where they connect over the drivers side rear and run fuel grade hose from there inside the cabin? Or should I run hard lines all the way through?

What i did was pull the factory rubber line off the hard line and run steel braid fuel line from it to the cell fittings.
