I was gonna get a 175 miller or Possible a 210

But my buddy owns napa and they have this brand
Fire Power

I was looking at the fp 160
it claims 3/8 single pass at 60% duty

and it is gonna cost me the same as teh miller 175
SOoooo anyone uses one?
and if so how long, problems

or any general comments

I have the Firepower FP120 it will easily do 1/4" with a single pass and it came with a TWECO gun....it will use 10' spools and a cold tip...doesn't power up till you hit the trigger.....Im a poor welder now but this welder is making it a litle easier to get the feel

There is no welding on my skid plates just solid bent plate....twice as strong as any weld....actually IM not that bad of a welder but it is a very nice unit! I would recommend it to anyone

i''d spring for the miller 210 myself. you might even be able to get the free spool gun too. ;)

if the money's the same i'd get the miller ...

I just got my hobart 175 about one hour ago i ordered it from www.cyberweld.com they had the best price on hobart and millers anywhere on the net the hobart came with a cart complete with free shipping christmas special $550 you still might be able to get that price but don't know if you are interested in hobart

check them out for pricing though
