Pics are coming!! But I had a question. I am going to go full width with 1 ton suspension as soon as I find the perfect donor truck but for now, how can I lower the center of gravity? Or should I lower the cruiser?

Right now I am sprung over, with 35 inch swampers and 3.75 inch backspaced rims. Would running 2 inch back spaced rims make a difference? I have even considered cutting the hell outta the babe and making a tube, cruiser thing. But that is a last resort. Any input on the subject??

hell i'm just glade to here you have been running it. i haven't ever heard that you fixed that broken pinion. are you running with the wind sheild down and the top off ? i just put the 38x14.5sxs on mine this weekend and it's better being 4 ins wider. i think you just have to get your angleometer in your head recalibrated.

The angle meter was working, and it was a slow as flop. I don't think I have ever flopped so slow. I am going to order a set of beadlocks that are 2 inch backspacing and take the windshield off. I need to lower my seats down a litte too. Right now they are way freaking high.

TRD, whatcha got?? How much do you want for a matched set?

I called the yard i usually goto and asked about D60's and he says they have a lot. I am going to look at them next weekend and figure out the ratios, widths and what side the pumpkin is on. I think they'll be about a grand for a matched set.

If you let me know what you need (width, pumpkin location and such i can see if they have anything for you). The biggest problem is the junkyard is 4 hours away from my normal residence so i don't go there very often.

Yep, an additional 3.5" of width will help a lot! And get the 2" BS beadlocks they are very cool....
How many leaves are you running in the spring pack? if you are running all of them remove the first or second bottom leaf. That will drop you a couple of inches..... I have removed the #4 main leaf out of my packs too. Makes it really soft though. Corners at speed are no fun....

TRD, let m,e know as well aout the axles, I need a front 60 too, but not a rear one. I am building this cruiser, and wannt build it right. So the front 60 is a necessity.
