I dont know a whole lot about wheel offset or wheels in general so i'm askin you guys for help. right now i'm running my stock rims which are 15x7 with 0 offset. what i need is a set of 15x8s that push the tires about 2" out on the truck. I'm lookin for some cheap steel wheels similar to AR767s. i looked on the AR website and the most offset i could find with a 6 on 5.5 bolt patern was 12mm which is only like half an inch. Does anyone know where i can get a wheel like this or should i just start lookin at those bolt on wheel spacers. I'd really rather have the correct wheels because those spacers are kinda pricey. Thanks.

a 15x7 rim with zero offset would have 3.5 inches of backspacing since the wheel center is centered.
So a 15x8 with 3.5" of backspacing will put your rims out 1".
15x8 with 2.5" of backspacing will put you out 2".

Dallas,

Avoid wheel spacers would be my recommendation.

A lot of steel wheel companies other than the AR and the AR767's exist. I got my 15x10 with 4-1/8 backspacing 8 lug wheels from Les Schwab for under 35 each. I had to paint them black because they came white but a small price to pay. I have no idea who the manufacturer was.

Oh and don't get fake beadlocks, they are a 35 dollar wheel marked up to nearly 100 because of glue on bolt heads. :barf:

Thanks for the info, anyone know some other MFRs i should check out? i dont care who makes em or if they are white i'll just paint em. and MW cmon do you really think i would put those :rainbow: streetlocks on the stinkbug :flipoff2: :D. one of the reasons i want the cheap assed steel rims is so i can weld on a set of rockstompers beadlocks in the future possibly.
