I bought a runner, its an 88 in excellent shape. 124,000 on 22RE motor, A/C, good int/ext/top, so on and so forth. I might have been screwed, I paid $3500 cash for it.

Two bad things:
1. IFS sucks
2. Its automatic

I am planning on making this either a long time project with manual tranny and SAS or selling it when I find an 85 I can afford.

Just a heads up*********

I was in line to buy an 85 already pretty well built with gears, u-bolt flip and a bunch of other shiat from a guy named Timothy Davis in Tulsa,OK. He told me how he was gonna sell it, how he was "STILL" interested in selling it and so on. I talked to him on Wednesday this last week and everything was still good to go. My buddy was supposed to meet him in Tulsa on Friday night to check it out for me and Tim Davis doesnt show. Anyway, I took off sick from work to drive 3 + hours roundtrip to my bank and back to get a loan. I got the money, get back home, hit play on the machine and find out Tim Davis never showed up to show the truck!!! I call my buddy in Tulsa to find out what happened. He tells me that Davis never showed so I had him check my e-mail for me. Tim waited till Friday to send an e-mail to tell me he and his wife decided not to sell. Now, I ask you all, if he knew on Wednesday, why did he wait till Friday to e-mail??? Anyway, I got shafted so I call his house and his wife answers for him to tell me "they" changed their minds on selling. The biggest piece of shiat about this whole thing is that he had my home phone and my buddies cell number and didnt bother calling to cancel.

Just a warning to everyone if Davis is also trying to sell his 85 runner to you, its all bullshiat!!!
