mounted some used 35 x 15.5 x 16.5 TSL SX's on my "Hummer" wheels and 3 of the 4 leaked down from 20 to 5 psi, its coming from the beads.......i took one back apart and re-cleaned the wheel and tire and it still leaks, (used soapy water to find both inner and outer beads have very, very slow leaks) i aired up all 4 to 20 psi this afternoon and am going to see what they are in the morning.

any ideas.........

Not sure, but FYI, 3 out of 4 on my truck hold air pretty good (will drop from 25 to 18 over 3 weeks). One leaks down pretty quick. Haven't checked the spare since I mounted it (think I will now).

Hmmm intersting, And to think I wanted hummer wheels at one time.

i'm not sure about being legal, they have "military use only" stamped on them, but they don't say illegal on them anywere :)

also i checked the "O" rings pretty good before installation, also cleaned the mating surfaces...... i did leak check the split on 2 of them and seem good.....

i'm kind of wondering if the 15.5" wide tire on the 8.25" wheels is causing alittle problem with the beadlocks smashing the beads correctly.........?

It's most likely the O-ring, mine did the same the frist time. I sprayed the O-ring and seat with PB blaster before mounting and it stop leaking.
