What is sticking out of the hood of the 45?
You can see the top and bottom of the shock so is that an adjustable shock mount or something else. It looks kinda big like a hydraulic cylinder.
Inquiring minds want to know.:D
rich
Hyrdaulic cylinders - basicly an adjustable shock mount but can force flex upon the vehicle

Are those links square stock, by chance? Happen to know what size and wall? And how it holds up? I am planning on square stock links in combination with Ford radius arm and regular spring bushings in my suspension. Square stock is a whole lot cheaper for me and there's none of that silly machine shop work to be done on the links as when using heims.

Yes they are square - i know very little but i believe Fat65L is a good friend of who owns this rig - but i am not sure on that one

12 inches of adjustable hydraulic suspension, 400 s.b. chev, cruiser running gear, those photos are old though, the thing now has 44inch boggers, and he has painted the drivers side door white, to match the rest of the vehicle (at the time of these shots is was a goldie brown colour) ;) the square tube is BEEFY and should hold up
im doing square tube for my bars, cause yeah, i can get it thicker (stronger) easier and most importantly FREE
i have some newer photos of it, but can't put them up (no site to upload too) i got my photos of it from FAT65L
he owns: www.snakeracing.com.au
there was also an article on it, for last years tufftruck

i think....... some quick specs and stuff
the tray has 2 huge cutouts, and in there he has big arches for the tyres, the whole thing looks pretty cool! although at the time of these photos his rams were only single acting, he has since replaced them with double acting rams, so he can go up/down.
