I had an Aussie locker the Dana 30 in my YJ and I have to say it is a great product the thing was durable as hell I broke everything around it r&p, axle shafts, and ujoints but the Aussie never broke, I actually pulled it out of my carrier and put it into another jeep when I changed to D44 front. The only thing I would like to see is a 30 spline version that would be compatible with the aftermarket high strength axle shafts.

We have talked to the guys who make the 30 spline shafts and making a locker to work with them is more complex than just changing the axle splines on the XD13027. If we figure out a resonable way to make the locker we will certainly look at getting them to market. Australia shuts down for over two weeks for Christmas and New Years. We are expecting the factory to reopen on January 8 and we should have an updated schedule on the Ford 9" within a few days. We have one here in the USA and hopefully will be doing our first installation in a week to ten days for developing the installation manual and training for our techs.

Right now we feel October is a little opimistic. The factory is still getting the new cutters installed and tested for the Dana 60 which preceeded the Chrysler 8.25 development by over a year.

Well we have paid for the development, and we have ordered the initial production run of the Chrysler 8.25 and we have paid the deposit on the order, so we certainly are expecting them this spring. We just dont control the schedule in the factory and we try to provide the information that has been sent to us, which has not had the best accuracy rate. But in the end we end up getting a superior locker so as far as our customers go, those that can wait end up with a great product. We will keep this site advised.

The call center is incorrect. All Dana 35 lockers are in stock now for next business day shipment. Dana 30 Aussie Lockers are in a shipment scheduled to leave Australia by Thursday of this coming week and, depending on customs clearing time, we will have them in our stock for immediate shipment by the following tuesday or wednesday.

The $ 199.99 was an introductory special and as noted on the listing posting it expired December 31, 2003

Right now only the 29 spline is in our manufacturing schedule and new product design program for 2007. We are always evaluating markets and once we get the 29 spline into the marketplace will look at the demand for the 27 and make a decision at that time.
