I have a ticking noise as soon as my car starts, and continues till its turned off. It gets more rapid the higher the RPM's. What is goin on here? Is it a stuck lifter or something? Please help me out. How do I fix it????

Could be an exhaust leak. Have someone hold a rag over the tailpipe then work your way down the system feeling and listen for leaks. It could be a lifter. If it is, have fun pulling off the head to replace.

could be a lot of things. Is your fan just barely nicking your shroud? exhaust leaks can make clicking noises, rockers on 4.0L are common to make a clicking noise. There are several things it could be. Good luck

It depends where it is coming from. I would recamend that you start your engine and listen to were it is coming from. On my jeep I broke my shroud and it made a ticking noise for a while but it happened more when i would speed up or slow down. It sounds like it is a loose rocker, or you bent one of you rods. You may have cracked the rocker too, and that would make it do that too. What you need to do is take a look under your valve covers and look at you rockers. Check them for cracks and then loosen them and check your rods. After you do that there should be a procedure in your book that shows you how to tighten them. If you can't find a procedure for tightening them them all so that they don't knock then go to each one and loosen it till it knockes and then tighten it till it stops knocking plus a quarter of a turn. The oil is going to get everywhere so a good idea is to rocker arm covers from somewhere like summit or to cut the top off of an old valve cover. I hope this helps.

does it get louder when you rev the engine? does it quite down when the engine it at a higher idle? louder when under a load?
if it remains a constant level of noise it is usually a lifter or something mechanical in the engine (ifn it is coming form the engine) if it seems to get softer under no load (idle) when it is revved it is usually a exaust leak. if louder under a load...mechanical problems (again if it is indeed the engine making the noise)
