It's definately a cool project, certainly I think so but I might be biased. :D Bob and Mike are definately going to be working some magic on this conversion. It'll practically be a one-of-a-kind wheeler and there certainly isn't many like it on the trail.

I'd estimate a couple weeks to complete barring any problems getting the parts in for the steering.

The blue one's are Calmini/Full Traction's but I have the factory links around somewhere. I can't think of any reason I'll need them. They're yours.

I'm gonna need some help getting the axles out of the back of the pick up. Do you think I can recruit some Stomper help Saturday morning before Prison Hill?

I think I might sell the 44, factory disks, Powertrax No-Slip, 4.30 and at 58" wide.

I keep looking at the winner for the drive shaft but it never changes and I am not the winner. :( Jess, send me a PM, I don't have email where I'm working and we need to talk.

Be more than glad to help you saturday morning. I'll be in Carson today after work too but I doubt you need the help today. I have to finish my steering by Saturday but I should be able to go play!
We better enjoy looking good on the trail before you get out there!:flipoff2:

Very cool, thanks guys.

Anytime before Prison Hill would work for me. I'm about 30-40 minutes from Wally World. Everything else is out of the truck and we're just going to pull them out and set them right there next to the house. The 44 will be easy, I already stripped it. The front will be a bitch since it folds just about everywhere.

Ok, where is prison hill? See'in as how we are neighbors, I've never heard of that one. I was just down in your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago. We ran Eldorado canyon, ran into some serious mud. Also the amigo is verrry cool. Hope to see it around. How was the exit hill on bronco canyon? The snow usually makes it a wild ride. I'm not sure if there is a name for it, but it is the one after you've finished the river bottom and climbed up the hill and made the sharp right turn and then straight down. Hope that clears it up.

End of Snyder in Carson City, right next to the prison, hence the name. Gives the guards something exciting to watch.

You should get with us, it's always a blast. Meet at Wally World parking lot in South Carson. I forget the time, probably 9 which means we leave around 9:30. BigWilly or Glo will certainly chime in with the time.

Be There!

Not sure of the time, but I am estimating a first roll of some time around 10:30 or so. And unless I can cut some weight off the top of my cruiser by this weekend it may just be me!! The courses Peter, Brian and I laid last week are Nawking Futs!! Can't wait to see the action!

That's where I thought it was. Thanks for the invite, but got family stuff this weekend. We will try to hook up another time. Have you guys been to Moon Rocks? Almost the same terrain as prison hill, they will be hosting Cal Rocks there in June. Saw them trying out course lines this last weekend. Should be fun during the competition.

Lookin good................Join the few and the proud !!!
On my 90 Amigo conversion to a Toy SAS, there was a pile of Isuzu slag about 2-feet wide from burning out the IFS... Shop said 6 hours with torch and grinder. . From the photos it looks (?) like the Uzi 4 cyl. If so, then stock tranny/t-case (?) Have you worked out your front driveline yet ? With the stock MUA5 tranny/t-case mine came out real short, real steep, read limiting strap at partial droop on the passenger side. More pics ? Keep the overtime checks $$$$$ flowin into it !!!!! Har Har Save $$ for Beer.......Good luck with it.:smokin:
