Has anyone used some sort of offroad light instead of stock headlights? If so do you have any pics. Scott.

pretty much any 7" round with an H4 bulb will bolt in. If the H4 bulb is any higher wattage than 55 low, 60 high, you will need an upgrade harness.

I found the 7" hella lights for $43 shipped at Denunzio Racing. Use the h4 bulb and are quite a bit brighter. Not legal for street but oh well. part # 70476.

I am not looking for a replacement headlight. I was thinking of not using headlights at all and just putting like Hella lights in there place. I do not drive it on the road so I am not worried about law issues.....

The H4 head light with the proper bulb bolts in, and when it gets the proper amperage can be very bright. Easily as bright as other Hella off road lights.

Get the Hella 500's at Pep Boys for around $50. THey will fit fine.

Make sure you get the right fluting in the glass. I believe event he 500s come in two models. A pencil and flood pattern. 500s are awesome size and for the money I don't think there is a better light out there. I have 3000s with one a pencil and one a flood. I'm running 140 watt bulbs in them. Obviously, this is only for way off road.
