I have a 1994 trooper LS Dohc, i cant get to the damn water pump, do i have to pull the harmonic balancer to get the kower timing cover off? I cant find my haynes manual, that is why i ask....thanks in advance

IIRC yes
The lower timing cover (and the 2 other timing covers) needs to be removed.
The crank pulley goes right thru the lwer cover.

It would probably be a good time to replace the T-belt and the tensioner too.
I've done it before AND I have a shop manual if you need more info.

great, thanks! I put it back together earlier today, i will probably dive back in tonight and try to wrap it up. Are there 2 bolts for the ps pump tension?(i can only locate one, maybe it stuck...)

The other one is tough to find.
There are 4 holes on the ps pulley... within one of those holes you'll find the 2nd bolt.
You're gonna have to rotate the pulley a little so you can stick your finger in there and find it.
