Fatkid..............

Im about to take my zuk down off the jackstands. We build alot of circle track cages at our shop, and im getting ready to build a cage for my zuk. The rear bumpers on our imca mods look almost identical to the nerf bars you run on your zuk for rocker protection.

What im beatin around the bush of asking is... I like the way they look on your zuk, and am going to do the same on mine. I will be posting pics soon, and your going to notice the resemblance. Its not that I cant be original, but I just liked the tubework on your zuk.

I hope you dont mind my nerfs bearing a very close resemblence to yours

Thanks guys.

If it would have bothered you guys, I would try to come up with something different, but man those rockers just look Tuff!!

Im trying to keep alot of my circle track stuff out of the zuk, but the tube work is influencing alot of what I am going to do. Good luck to you guys on selling your stuff. Im sure it will do well.

AWWWRIGHT!

may i be the first in line to order a set of these, iffn' they're not too outraaaaageously priced ? :D

bear in mind: after all was said and done; dollar difference, shipping, core charge, provincial sales tax, goods and services tax, brokerage fee, goods and services tax ON the friggin' brokerage fee etc. etc. my $65.00 US slip yoke cost me OVER $ 200.00 CDN just a couple months ago.....:(

but i would luv a set of :bender: approved rockers if i could afford them:smokin:

Hey Fat Kid and Tin Bender (and UZI)

If you guys state on your product or on the invoice for your product "Made in the United States" (or for any product made in Canada for sale and export to the US -- "Made in Canada" -- ATTENTION OTT Industries nudge nudge wink wink)
The good qualifies under NAFTA and is Duty Exempt (which means for UZI and other Canucks buying your product about a 14% savings on the total bill with Duty added --it's GST and PST for BC). Just food for thought! I had Novak Adapters type on their bill Made in the US and it saved me a bunch o cash. or Made in Mexico works too
:D
Thanks in advance

hey cheers, Dave:D
i don't believe i paid "duty" on my purchase, it was called "brokerage fees" and i think it was charged by UPS actually!
i'm not too sure on what's up with that:rasta: i sent an e-mail to UPS a while ago asking, and got a generic reply saying they needed "tracking #" stuff (which i don't have as i chucked the packaging.... )
oh well.:D

Eh!
The only way around brokerage fees is to have it stop at a friends somewhere in Blaine (or other nearby town in the US) and then go pick it up yourself. That way you eliminate the fees but you may set yourself up for some other unpleasentries at the boarder. I figure if you go in and declare it and then go through you're better off since you didn't pay duty (made in USA) and they think you are a great law abiding citizen.
Who knows with those guys though!

Just thought I'd save us a couple of Canuck bucks since they ain't worth much but they sure are hard to earn a lot of in a short time!
See ya!:flipoff2:

OILBURNER, why don't you do a hydraulic ram system like mine. I know you've got the fab skills and it will be the only steering you will ever need (even if you go to 38's or more). No more pushing your axle around, no more smashed bushings or broken frames. Put the force on the axle where it is supposed to be......

If you have a wimpy PS, it may even be possible to tap a Yoda or Suz box to drive a ram. I've done GM and Bronco boxes. You just have to be able to weld a pressure tight fitting on the box (usually nodular) for the lines to the ram.....

Think of it, one handed steering. Locked on the rocks, on concrete, anywhere!

I've thought about it, but that's about all :)

I figger it would be easier to find an IFS box if I needed an emergency replacement vs. parts for a hyd. ram.
