Here is a place to make your complaint to Jeep about the "hunter" comersial.

i did it, but i was not offened as much as some others, but i did find it in bad taste

Despite it all being true, it’s only a commercial therefore there’s no way DC is going to pull the ad regardless of how many (a few in total) objections it receives over the commercial. Face it, the commercial plays on the stupidity of the average tree hugging American (read uninformed) so it serves DC’s objective to sell more vehicles. That's truely what's so sad about our current society.

I HONESTLY don't see what's offensive about it... Do I hunt? Yes, since childhood. Am I offendend easily? Hell no. Seriously... If you're manly enough to take skill and find enjoyment in the sport... I CAN'T BELIEVE you'd be so SENSITIVE to a little modern day marketing :rolleyes: ...

just for the record -

The reason I signed it was because a group that was supposed to support our sport, was giving ammunition and support to the groups against it.... That commercial could have easily been used at a sierra klub rally or some other political meeting to show that "jeep supports the sierra klub's use of jeep vehicles to remove animals from harms way" or some other BS twisted distorted lie...

I think DC made a poor decision to even make the commercial, though I did find it funny :D -

my take on this is not about if it pissed you off as a hunter (and to those that wern't offended ...good)

the thing that sucks is that JEEP (associated with jeepers of all kinds) throughs the idea that hunters (outdoorsman) are bad and you (you = general public) CAN do somthing about it

yeah those kinda comercials help the enviro ideal/extremists to feel that their cause is that much more just!
I am glad they pulled it.

DC has all sorts of stupid ads. The one that's catching flack around here is their AWD minivan commercial where they show some idiot tailgating and then passing a snow plow.

It's just advertising folks!
