I'm running a 32 gal fuel cell with a huge metal d-ring style cap and was wondering what kind of emmission problems i might run accross and what i can do about it. I can't see how they're going to be able to test the cap or pressurize the tank.

Not sure how AZ. emmisions works, but in Ca you have to do a funtional test on the gas cap...if its not there, you fail. Also, depending on what kind of rig you have, if you don't have the EVAP lines hooked up you will also fail. How hard would it be to strap a gas tank back in just for the test??

In CA they also do a visual inspection of the unleaded restrictor and flap, if these are not there it will fail. Fual cells don't have these.

SMP, as far as I know on our older vehicles they're ok. I havn't managed to get mine down there for testing since I put it in though.
