What filter does this include? Is it just a filter that covers the airhat or is there actually a sealed unit with a 4" inlet/outlet?

What's the application because all we did was look up the part # you had given us. Let us know the application and i will see what that includes

That PT# should be just the airhat to go on top of a 4bbl carb. I want to use it to build a snorkle and run a 4" tube from it to a filter box and then up to the top of the buggy for the intake.

I was curious thought if K&N makes a filter unit that is "sealed" that has a 4" inlet and outlet to use as an inline filter for a snorkle system.

Yeah you can use that for the carb for a snorkle unit. That unit cost is 164.99 and the filter cone 4" is 32.99
