Hey I am looking for the best place to find info on wiring up a factory gm tbi motor in a jeep. It will have a centech harness so it will be easy on the that end. I haven't recieved the tbi set-up yet so I haven't had a chance to rumage through the connections. It is off of a 91 Camaro RS, 305 V8. What connections need to go splice into the jeep wiring? Any good place to find some write ups? everything thing I find is TPI stuff which I assume is similar.
Later, Jake
You're not going to need much of the Jeep wiring. You'll need a constant hot source, a keyed hot source, coil + , and whatever guages you want to run. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but those are the biggies I can think of.

Dude, it's a pain in the ass. I tried it and finally broke down and bought a Howell harness. It can be done, I know. If you try it, make sure to use relays for the starter and coil. Get 12v to the brain and make sure all the correct sensor plugs are in. Hell, give it a try. I lost patience. Good luck.
i used a centech harness to put a 5.7 tbi into my 91 yj. it was amazingly easy thanks to centech. like cmegroup said theres only those few wires to hook up. pm me if i could help in any way alsi centech has excellent costomer service if yah cant figure somthing out.

I agree, I made my harness out of the stock one and if I added up the time it took to strip it out of the old truck and weeding out the wires I didn't need, it isn't worth the savings. I also spent three nights shortening the wires to the computer so that I wouldn't have to make a loop with the extra wiring. There are a hot, a ground, and two ignition feeds that have to be hooked to the Jeep wiring to get it to run.
