I did a parts run yesterday and got the last of the parts I needed. I can finally finish the sas. I am setting up the ball joints and I am having some problems. Once everything is assembled and torqued down it seems really hard to turn the knuckle is the normal? Also while trying to torque the lower ball joint the ball joint starts to spin before I can it tightened all the way down. The axle is a DANA 44 out of a waggy.

Yeah they are pretty tight when they are brand new. That's normal. As far as torquing that botom nut. Put a floor jack underneath the knuckle and put a little pressure on it to keep it from spinning. :)

is the ball joint base spinning or just the threaded stud and ball...if it's the stud there is a slot on the top of the stud you can hold still with a bladed screwdriver while you tighten with a wrench

It was just the shaft spinning. I like the idea with the screw driver. Thanks.
