what is the routing for the heater hoses on a ford 351m? The previous owner removed the press fittings and the routing I used puts no coolant through the heater core. Is there another way to set them up?
edit: I should add, the way I have it set now is i have one line routed to the fluid port on the intake manifold and the other line is routed to the threaded fitting right below the press fitting on the water pump. With this setup I can remove the hoses from the heater core and I get no fluid flow
edit: there is a threaded fitting on the top of my thermostat housing, can I use that as a pressure fitting and the intake manifold as return?

bump, and a modification of the question:

can I run a tee off either the upper or lower radiator hose to route fluid through to the heater core? If so, which one?

There should be a tap off of the water pump and another either on or near the thermostat housing.

I get no pressure from the threaded tap on the water pump. Where there is supposed to be a fitting is plugged off and I want to rerig this without buying a new water pump
