I just put a lift on my yj. I noticed I'm getting no movement on the shackles at the frame end. The soft rubber bushings from the factory are putting the clamps on the shackles and stoping movement on front and rear shackles. Is there anyone selling a fix for this? Unless I put on some weight or pickup a fat chick for ballest, I don't think they are working at all.

Grease? Greasable shackle bolts? Polyurethane bushings? loosen the nuts?

Does anyone know where I can get just a set of the greasable frame bushings. I can only find whole greasable shackles or whole sets of poly bushings. I've tried 5 different off-road stores without luck.

Thanks

so what exactly are you expecting to happen? I bet all your problems would be solved if you loosened up the nuts. You only need a little bit of torque on those bad boys.

use a locknut and torque em to 30 lbs instead of the 60 or 70 that the idiot proof instructions suggest. Just be sure and use a locknut.
