: MSD 6A installation problems

OK, I am trying to figure this damn thing out, and having no luck.

Does anyone have an MSD 6A wired up that they can send me some pics of? I am trying to wire it up, am not sure which wires need to be cut/spliced into. Don't feel like frying my electrical system either :)

Currently, I have the box mounted to the firewall near the battery, powered to the battery (disconnected for now, but the appriopriate ring terminals are installed). I have the taps in the wires leading out of the distributor, but not sure how to wire the coil. Should I just suck it up and get a new aftermarket coil too? Seems the smartest route to go, but given my current wiring problems, I am not sure if that will create more problems than it will solve.

Zuk is a '90 1.3 stock engine/trans.

Any help is appreciated.

I have it on my personal site here. (http://www.billjohn.com/images/adapter%20diagram.jpg)

I used an MSD coil, but the main problem was that for the fuel injection models you also need the 'tach adapter' (pn 8910-HEI), but the instructions didn't say anything until I called MSD. Luckily, they are right here in El Paso, and they fixed me up.

Nice, I will have to pick up a coil and that adapter on the way home (there is a speed shop not too far from me). Tonight I will try to get it wired and get some pics.
