Big Rich 01-17-2002, 08:31 AM seeing that my 89 cherokee is at this time bone stock, Here is my list of do's before TDS

Desert Jeepin 01-17-2002, 09:00 AM On the YJ...

YellowSub1962 01-17-2002, 09:22 AM things I need t do:
finish "plasti-gauging" the motor, adjust the valves, replace the cam plug, put it back in again and hope it don't knock this tme.... drive it at least 500 miles before I head out...
fix the rear bumper/tire carrier so it opens and closes without a crowbar
mount 2 tires on rims
replace leaf packs on the trailer
how it will actually happen:
put motor back in the way it is and break it in on the way down there. drive the trailer down with a broken leaf pack and change it there. keep using a crowbar to open the rear tire carrier...
buy beer and go :D

Pazuzu 01-17-2002, 01:37 PM Realistically? Swap in new front diff, mount 2 new tires, swap shocks, fix t-case crossmember (so the case doesn't rattle against the underbody under heavy load, like it does now), mount rear rocklights, load rig and GO.
Hopefully? Rear roll cage, bed bob.
