The 4.3 uses a standard chevy bell housing.
Should be no problem.

You need a flexplate from a 4.3L/SBC and TH400/4L80E application. The TC bolt pattern is a little bigger on the TH400 than TH350 or TH700.

Maybe double check the TC as well. The TH700 has a V6 and V8 TC. Difference is a few hundred rpm stall speed to make up for the V6's lesser torque. Not sure if the Th400 follows suit.

You are saying I need a flywheel from a 4.3 V6 that was mated to a TH400 from the factory? Those were in some 2500, 3500 Pre 87' trucks correct? Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket aplications?

Thank you Ross

No. A flexplate from a an 86-98 4.3L V6 or smallblock that was mated to a TH400 or 4L80E.

Should be EASY to find.
