I was thinking of running an event in Chertsey Quebec. it's a pretty good place to wheel with lots of trails. You can camp ala primitive or there are campsite and motels not very far out of the woods. I'm not sure what kinda turnout we'd get though....

Hey most Zuki events are small to start. Who knows?
I'll be there. I love the loop. I think I spun a wheel there once.

:D

Just kidding. I'm sure we could get 30 or more Zuks to show.
There are enough Tech, List, BBS, and chat groups to choose from.

Post it everywhere and see what interest ther is in it.

Nothing that I am aware of in Canada. Between Chris, Danny and myself we could drum up 30 Zuk I'm sure.

What do you think Boys?

First annual All Zuk Canadian Content Zuk-adian Event.

Held around Montreal Canada in the Summer, who would come?

Yes, I think John is right. Given enough up front warning you'd probably have a large turn out. I know when we've done the "impromptu" runs at Oshawa we've gotten 10-12 trucks to come out - and that is just through the `Trails list that Gerry runs on my web server. Pretty isolated group of people. Oshawa is pretty bush league as far as trails go but it is a good place to organize an "Internet" run and put faces to names and stuff.

Al Graham arranged a good Green Mountain run (~Bobcaygen, ON) through the `Trails list once and we got something like 15 trucks out - about 5 of which were Samurais. Once out, I could care less what everyone is driving - I like all 4x4s.

Chertsey I hear is pretty good (through John). Good mix of rocks and mud with easy to hard. If you are trying to get a big turn out that is a good spread.

I think Al G is arranging another Green Mountain/ Lingham Lake multi day run for the spring. If my truck was more prepared I'd go for sure but at this point I still can't make any commitments. :(

There is normally a big Suzuki run put on by the IRC in British Columbia I think, some time in May-June? John?

Hey, being down in Nova Scotia, there must be tons of wheeling down there. Or in New Brunswick. Time to do some exploring I'd think. :) I know in Newfoundland it is just a matter of going where the logging is and you'll find something fun to with your day.

we don't got much rocks except for the Sub-Killer Trail (http://www.rightcoastcrawler.com/trails/subkiller/20011118/Story.html) and the Cripple Creak trail (http://www.rightcoastcrawler.com/trails/cripplecreek/20011013/Story.html)
but besides that its all mud......... but theres lots of trails and they are all legal to drive on cause no-body bothers you.....
so anyone intrestred?

Hey there,

Does Canada end at TO?:flipoff2: (J/K).

Anyway sounds like a great idea. I don't think I could make it that far, but hows about we all meet in Manitoba. I think there might be a Zuk in BC if we look hard enuf:D . Maybe even one or two in Sask.

Hope this works out for you. Keep us posted. Maybe I'll just duc tape up the wife and head on over anyway:D .

well john, theres a couple for your "zookican" lol....... i'll try to see if i can get a place to hold one......might end up being my properity..... just have to do some trail clearing....... serious mud trails with very deep mud and a bit of rocks....... as i said the guy that does the jep jam can't do the zuki one for us...... if i get enough people contacting me and i can't get anywhere better it'll be my prop..... if all goes well with the guy that owns the prop that the trail cuts through......:emb: ......
so my version will be in Nova Scotia, and if john is still intrested in doing his in montreal......thats 2 zuki meets......
so we need a head count for both of them......., so comeon people......

ok, i have all the promition......... it will be on my properity in Cpae Breton, Nova Scotia....... there are two trails that will be covered, one is an old entrance to my bunglo which is extremly muddy with VERY deep and THICK goop, the second trail in the poerline we like to do alot, it is about 57KM one way then return, at the camp area we'll have the gully cut out so the rock guys can play, i'll try to get a RTI, and maybe a tetter-toder(made from logs)
well if anyone is planning on going contact me........ no dates have been set yet......
-Mike, ps. whats up with yours john? still going to do it???
hope to see some of you there, when ever it is, in eater june, july, or august
