A lot of them are from the jukebox at the VFW that my Dad managed, so I had no idea what was in there. Just a couple of hi-lights in the collection...

CW McCall...Convoy

and some record put out by Barbie Benton and Playboy! Also a couple random Elvis 45's.

I also found a box of old pins...like campaign buttons and such. In there I found...

a Reagan campaign button
a Nixon Eviction button
an Impeach Nixon button
a McGovern botton
a I Refuse to Participate in the Recession button
and my very favorite...

a South of the Border, Amigo of Pedro!!

I have a lot of random junk and no idea where is came from...:roxy:

My first issue of Playboy had Barbie Benton. As I recall, she was just shy of 40, and still SMOKIN' :)

Oh, and on the buttons & such, I found some buttons & unwrapped sticks of gum that said "I Like Ike" in my parents' stuff awhile back :D

I had an *I Like Ike* button, but thinking I was mega super cool in the 80's with fifty bazillion gillion buttons on my jean jacket, I put in on there and it fell off  :roxy:

I tried to explain it to Robert because he's never been any further east than Colorado, so he has no idea what the hell I'm talking about. But South of the Border is lost in translation and needs to be experienced to appreciate it! :D :roxy:

It's a must! BTW, when I met my wife in '94, she had only been out of Missouri ONCE in her entire life - and that was ~15 miles into Illinois to go to a nightclub. So, first chance we had to leave town, I told her to pack & that we'd drive for about an hour to get where we were going (it takes an hour to get to the airport :D).
