Hey all I'm new to this forum' so ill get down to biznes. I purchased an '88 Trooper II LS from a friend with a supposed blown head gasket (the head was actually cracked in#3 exhaust port) so I changed heads and had no problems until a heater hose blew and I let the engine cook at 280* :( , BUT SURPRISINGLY no engine suicide heck it ran for another week with no probs :eek: , then on the interstate at 70 MPH blamm shes dead. after reading many of your past posts I came across a link to aluminumheads.com and their stock of AMC castings and was wondering if these heads are truly superior and if plunking down $500 was going to fix the relibility issues of my 4ZE-1 so I can further it performance/off-road capabilities :grinpimp: . ANY help would be great.

well i have bought a head from them, i believe i got the Pro Top Line , i can say that it does look very nice but i haven't got the truck running yet so i can't tell you anything about that. however i can say that everyone on 4x4wire.com swears by the amc head, check that place out for more info on it.
