I think i may order a set up next week and complete the power package(Heads, cam, intake, carb, fuel pump) on my 454 in my K5. You guys have any opinions on these heads? The lower end is still doing pretty good so i may just run it untill it :nuke: then replace it with the GM performance parts lower end or the new Merlin alluminum lower end. What do you guys think?

the oval ports are great for all around use, dont get the rectangular port heads.

Thanks for the tip. That's what i was told by a couple of others as well. I thought the rectangular ports were for something different than the standard oval port 68 or whatever-to mid 80's 454's?
